Please take note of the following guidlines from Rugby Borough Council:

The public consultation on the publication draft of RBC’s Local Plan runs out on Friday 11 November 2016.

Please take a moment to read the following Rugby Borough Council guidelines:

  • When commenting on a proposal or policy, state the reference number of the proposal/policy contained in the publication draft of the plan.
  • Whether you’re objecting to, or supporting, a proposal or policy, please explain why and, if you want a proposal or policy changed, explain how it should be changed and your reasons for the change.
  • If you’re objecting to certain aspects of a proposal, also highlight the elements of the proposal you agree with so attention can be focused on the reasons for your objection.
  • Where necessary, please support your comments with statements, policies or proposals from other planning documents, e.g. national planning policy, the Sustainability Appraisal or relevant technical reports and studies
  •  Please note – consultation responses cannot be kept confidential. All representations received and information provided must be open to public scrutiny, including publication on the Rugby Borough Council’s website.
