SCAM CALLER – DUNCHURCH RESIDENTS

Residents have reported receiving a phone call from someone saying they were calling from Warwickshire Police to alert them to the fact that an illegal transaction had been taken from their credit card for £700 for Argos.  They were asked to check if any of their cards had gone missing.   They then started asking people searching questions about who else lived with them and other members in their household and what cards they had etc and then asking for their names.  This is a SCAM.  Warwickshire Police would not ask these questions.
