  Our Libraries are open and we are inviting you all to come in and say ‘Hello’ during Libraries Week in October!  Warwickshire Libraries will continue to keep you and our staff safe. When you visit, we ask you to:  sanitise your hands choose to wear a face covering  respect the space of others  Find opening times and more information about services available in your local library.
     

During October we will be holding a Book Amnesty –  you can bring back any items that you may still have at home, it doesn’t matter for how long, just drop them back in and all fines and charges will be waived.     

7:15pm Tuesday 5th October – Rugby Library

We’ll be welcoming UK crime novelist Stephen Booth to Rugby Library. He’ll be answering all your questions and even signing a few books!

Limited spaces are available and these must be booked in advance    
  7pm Wednesday 6th October – Kenilworth Library

We’re thrilled to be welcoming three fabulous local authors for a panel discussion to mark Libraries Week 2021 at Kenilworth Library. We will be joined by Penny Batchelor, Katy Colins and Fran Hill who will be sharing insights into their writing careers and publishing journeys. There will be the opportunity to hear from each author and time for audience questions. Limited spaces are available for this event and these must be booked in advance.    

7:30pm Thursday 7th October – Virtual Event via Microsoft Teams

As part of our celebrations for Libraries Week 2021, we’ll be joined by debut novelist, Freya Sampson who will be telling us all about her novel ‘The Last Library’ and answering your questions.

11am Friday 8th October – Doing It Digital via Microsoft Teams Want to know more about the free digital services available from Warwickshire libraries? Join this free online session where our Digital Library Team will show you what we have and how you can download it to your device!

7pm Friday 8th October – Virtual Reading Hour via Microsoft Teams

Half an hour of silent reading followed by some book chat!

Join in with our silent reading and then spend some time chatting about books and reading via Microsoft Teams.
