Homestead View – Drop In & Workshops on 6th, 7th and 8th July 2023

Community Design Event
Thursday 6th July – Saturday 8th July 2023     You are invited by Homes England to a Community Design Event.

We need your views to help develop a vision and masterplan for Homestead View.

A series of workshops will be held and an exhibition will be open throughout the three days. Participation is on a drop-in basis there is no need to pre-register for the workshops. The purpose is to listen to the community to understand their thoughts, concerns and aspirations, and to explore how the proposals at Homestead View can respond to these. A Post-it Note Workshop titled ‘Issues and Ambitions’ will be the focus, along with an opportunity to discuss topics that arise in more detail with the consultant team.

The workshops dates and times are:
Day 1: 11:30am on Thursday 6th July 2023 at Cawston Community Hall, Scholars Dr, Cawston, Rugby CV22 7GU

Day 2: 14:30 on Friday 7th July 2023 at Dunchurch Sportsfield and Village Hall, Rugby Rd, Dunchurch, Rugby CV22 6PN

Day 3: An additional workshop at 11:30am on Saturday 8th July 2023 at Dunchurch & Thurlaston WI Hall, Southam Rd, Dunchurch CV22 6GH   Find out more about the Community Design Event   The Homestead View development area is shown on the plan below.     What is Homestead View?

Homestead View is the name of the South West Rugby Sustainable Urban Development Extension, which responds to the area’s growing housing needs by creating a new community in the area. It will fulfil Rugby Borough Council’s allocation of the site for housing, employment and supporting community and highway infrastructure.
